Today, August 25th, we celebrated our 8th year anniversary. 8 years is a long time but then add 4 years of dating/engagement and thats a really long time! We were laughing cause as we reminisced (or tried to) each anniversary we realized the first 5 were super memorable and we did cool things and went camping and traveled... then a baby arrived and then we were remembering anniversaries based on what restaurant we went to, sad! but reality. I just don't know if we can swing super cool anniversary celebrations when kids are so small. Anyways, we got to go out to dinner while some of our teammates watched a cranky little girl who did not nap today. The time flew and I was sad to return home :) Our 8th year was a GREAT year... so much better than the 7th. For lots of reasons (and I have heard this from others; that year 7 can be tough) but it made me so grateful to God that He changes me and for a good year being with the best man in the world.
