My dad just sent me some pictures of my grandma that they just stumbled upon for the first time. So cool. She was born in 1915 and was the 4th of 11 kids! She grew up during the Great Depression in Montana. Her dad (my great grandpa) immigrated from Norway and began the life of a blacksmith in Montana. She died in 1997.
Her hair was blond, her eyes were blue and she had lots of freckles. Her baby picture looks exactly like my sister when she was a baby, that's so fascinating to me! Her name was Margaret. Wasn't she pretty?
